Announcing the AuthorHouse NaNoWriMo Challenge Team 2012

What a fantastic response! The AuthorHouse NaNoWriMo Challenge Team is already 44 writers strong. We have published authors, writers planning to publish their first book and NaNoWriMo veterans amongst our ranks. 

Questions

A number of valid questions have already been raised by the team, so let’s address these straight off.

• “Win lose or draw, do I have to publish? When? Under what obligation? Do I have to sign a contract up front? What’s the catch?”

The first point to clarify is that National Novel Writing Month is NOT an AuthorHouse event. It is run by “a tiny but mighty nonprofit called the Office of Letters and Light.” Meet the hardworking NaNoWriMo organizers here.

AuthorHouse does not collect or submit your work or determine whether you have or have not succeeded. This is all done online via the NaNoWriMo official website. The AuthorHouse NaNoWriMo Challenge Team has been set up purely as a support group where participants help and encourage each other towards the goal of 50,000 words within the 30 days of November.  Read More
